What is covered?

  • Purchase of houses, apartments and freehold land are available for individuals.
  • Re-Mortgages are available

Type of loans available:

  • Capital repayment mortgage
  • Interest only mortgages available for maximum 5 years

Loan to Value:

  • Upto 85% LTV (depending on the development)
  • 70% LTV non-status loans are available
  • 70% LTV loans are available for re-mortgage

Interest Rates:

  • Euro: starting from 6.30%
  • Swiss Franc: starting from 4.40%

Maximum Term & Age Limit:

  • 25 years (not more than 75 years old at maturity depending on the lender)

Prepayment Penalty: 0%

Documents required (not required for non-status mortgages)

  • Completed application form
  • P60 or 2 years audited accounts if self employed
  • 6 months bank statements
  • Sales & Purchase Contract with Floor plans and Annexes
  • 3 months payslips

General fees to consider:

  • Bank Arrangement Fee: Dependant on lender
  • Bank Administration fee: € 1200
  • Third Party costs: € 900 (approximately)

Other points to note:

  • One trip to Budapest is necessary to sign the notarised deed, set up a power of attorney and open up a bank account.
